Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated: 06 October 2026
This policy explains when you can get a refund for tickets booked on TicketBook. Some events may have their own refund terms set by the Organiser; these are shown on the event page and apply where they are more generous to you than this policy.
1. Cancellation by the customer
- Tickets once booked generally cannot be cancelled or exchanged by the customer, unless the event page says cancellation is allowed.
- Where the Organiser allows cancellation, the request must be made at least 48 hours before the event start time through our contact page with your booking ID. The ticket amount is refunded as per the Organiser's terms; any booking or convenience fee is non-refundable.
2. Event cancelled by the Organiser
- If an event is cancelled, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, including any booking fee.
- The refund is initiated within 7 working days of the cancellation being announced, to the original payment method. Banks may take a further 5 to 7 working days to credit it.
- For payments made directly to the Organiser's UPI account, the refund is made by the Organiser to the same UPI account. We follow up with the Organiser and escalate if the refund is delayed.
3. Event postponed or changed
- If the date, time or venue changes, your ticket stays valid for the new schedule.
- If you cannot attend the new schedule, you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of the change being announced.
- If a major part of the event changes (for example the headline performer is replaced), refunds are offered as per the Organiser's announcement and this policy.
4. Failed, duplicate or unconfirmed payments
- If money is debited but your booking is not confirmed, or you are charged twice for the same booking, the extra amount is refunded in full.
- Gateway payments that fail are usually reversed automatically by the bank within 5 to 7 working days.
- For direct UPI payments that cannot be matched, share the UTR / UPI reference number and a screenshot with us and we will resolve it within 7 working days.
5. When refunds are not given
- Not attending the event, arriving late, or losing or sharing your ticket.
- Denial of entry because of misconduct, intoxication, prohibited items, age or ID rules of the venue.
- Bookings made with false payment references.
- Events that take place as scheduled.
6. How to request a refund
Use our contact form or email support@webseicho.in with your booking ID, registered email/mobile and payment reference. Requests should be raised within 7 days of the event date. We confirm receipt within 1 working day.
