This Privacy Policy explains how Amit Kumar (Keshari Group), operator of TicketBook ("we", "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use the Platform. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000, its rules and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as applicable.

1. Information we collect

• Booking details: name, email address, mobile number, ticket type, quantity and booking history.
• Account details: name, email, mobile number and an encrypted password if you create an account.
• Organiser details: business name, contact person, address, PAN, GSTIN, bank account details and UPI ID for payouts and verification.
• Payment information: payment status, transaction ID, UTR / UPI reference number and amount. Card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN and net banking passwords are handled by banks and payment partners and are never stored by us.
• Entry data: check-in time when your QR code is scanned.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and secure.
• Messages: what you send us through the contact form or email.

2. How we use your information

• To create and confirm bookings, issue e-tickets and send booking emails.
• To verify payments, process refunds and prevent fraud.
• To let Organisers manage entry and contact attendees about their event (for example a time or venue change).
• To provide customer support and respond to grievances.
• To pay Organisers and keep accounts, invoices and tax records.
• To improve the Platform and keep it secure.
• With your consent, to send updates about events. You can opt out at any time.

3. Sharing of information

• Organisers: your name, email, mobile number and booking details are shared with the Organiser of the event you book, for entry management and event communication. Organisers must use this data only for that event.
• Service providers: payment gateways, banks, email providers and hosting providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or government authority, or to protect rights, safety and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your session secure and remember your login. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work without essential cookies.

5. Data retention

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements (generally up to 8 years). Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account, subject to these legal requirements.

6. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, access controls and signed QR codes to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password and ticket links private.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing, or raise a grievance by writing to support@webseicho.in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Children

The Platform is not meant for users under 18 to make bookings or payments. Bookings for minors should be made by a parent or guardian.
